Unakite crystal moon.
Size of Crystal Moon: Approximately 3.5cm in length, and roughly 3cm from the edge to the point of the crystal. (Please note, as these are a natural product the sizing may vary slightly by a few millimetres).
Unakite is a metamorphic rock that forms when granite (an igneous rock) is altered by hydrothermal metamorphism. During metamorphism, plagioclase in the granite is replaced by epidote to produce a rock composed primarily of green epidote, pink orthoclase, and clear to milky quartz. Green epidote cultivates a zest for growth and the ability to see what is going on below the surface of our everyday life. Pink feldspar brings a new way of approaching things. It also promotes self-love, which in turn makes us more able to love others. The energy of quartz promotes clarity and clear mindedness.
As a whole, unakite reminds us of the need to unblock energy centres in the body, which build-up from time to time, as blockages can halt progress in our physical life.
The energy of the moon is intuitive, deep, subtle, feminine and psychic. To say this is a feminine energy does not mean to say this energy is just for women. Men and women have their female and male aspects. We all develop them both.
The moon is also associated with clairvoyance and knowing without thinking. To use the energy of the moon does not involve conscious thought. So to wear or have around you the symbol of the moon is to state your universal intention to use your intuition, to simply go with what you feel and to know that to do this is for your greater good.
