Many of you have been following our progress for years, so we are delighted to announce that we are recruiting someone to come and work in the shop!

About the job

The purpose of the job will be to give the other person a day off. It will be 6 hours on a Sunday, between 10am and 4pm. You will be responsible for opening and closing the shop, serving customers and keeping the shop clean and tidy. Other than your training, you will be in the shop on your own so you will need to 18 years old or over. There will be a full personalised lone working risk assessment in place.

You will also be required to work on an occasional Saturday shift if there are events booked into the diary, but these dates will be booked in advance. A Saturday that you will need to work will be 17th August 2024.

Benefits

Age 18 – 20, the pay will be £10 per hour.

Age 21 or over, the pay will be £12 per hour.

A 10% staff discount.

The equivalent of 4 weeks a year paid holiday.

A paid day off if a bank holiday falls on your contracted working day.

About Us

A small family run witchy and crystal shop based in Church Walk, in Crawley’s Town Centre. We started out selling at tabletop sales and craft fairs, and incorporated in 2019. Since then, we’ve done many street markets and events and had a pop up stall in Crawley County Mall. We opened our first shop in Church Walk in December 2023. Saranne read geology at Royal Holloway, University of London and has been a practicing witch since the late 1980’s.

About you

Aged 18 years or older, and have the right to work in the UK.

Be confident about talking to members of the public.

Live in Crawley, or have an accessible way of getting to the shop to open it on time.

Have some knowlege about the metaphysical aspects of crystals, but most of all a love of crystals and being willing to learn more.

Basic knowledge and awareness of different spiritual pathways would be beneficial but not essential.
