Tarot and the Sirius Gateway
July 2, 2020I don’t know about you, but I’m glad we have had some rain! I just love the smell of the rain, especially after hot days.
Tarot
I’m going to include some Tarot features over the next few blogs and on my Facebook page to either introduce people to Tarot reading, or for more experienced readers get a peak of how someone else is doing it. Tarot is a very personal thing, and everyone’s interpretations of the cards are different; even down to how the cards are laid out. There is no right or wrong way!
With every deck will come an an instruction book with the basic card meanings for the full 78 card deck. For the more experienced readers among us, we have developed our own interpretation of what they mean, and will buy cards that we can tune in to. We’ve all had ‘that’ deck we can’t connect to.
I’m going to go through one of my decks rather than one of the ones from the shop (mostly because I don’t want to influence what will become other people’s cards!). This is my go-to deck if I want an in depth reading.
Card 0 – The Fool.
In my deck, this card is called the Beginning. Youth, folly, optimism, naivety. I prefer it being called the Beginning, as youth and exploration isn’t always foolish. Depending on the type of reading (e.g. love, life etc.) and the surrounding cards it could take on meanings such as the beginning of a new relationship or going somewhere new, or starting a new job. This is a brave card that says you are not afraid to take a step into the unknown.

Moon phase – Waxing Gibbous
Today and tomorrow the Moon is in Sagittarius. This means that the greatest need is to always search for something or need to be doing something to achieve a goal. With Moon in Sagittarius you have an optimistic approach to life and you believe that things will get better even if you get into trouble.
July 5th 2020
Moon phase – Full moon. The moon will be in Capricorn.
There is a lunar eclipse at 0544am, although we won’t be able to see it because the sun will already be up! However, you can use this to add power and direction to your rituals. This Capricorn lunar eclipse also comes at the height of the Sirius Gateway. You can find more about that here:
