Kyanite Chip Bracelet

Description

Kyanite is a typically blue aluminosilicate mineral, found in aluminium-rich metamorphic pegmatites and sedimentary rock. It is the high pressure polymorph of andalusite and sillimanite, and the presence of kyanite in metamorphic rocks generally indicates metamorphism deep in the Earth’s crust.  It has a hardness of 4.5 along the crystal axes and 6 to 7 across the axes. The crystals grow in clusters of long flat blades and are sometimes transparent enough to be cut as gems.

Kyanite can strongly activate the “third eye” chakra, for enhanced inner visioning, greater psychic ability and lucid dreaming, astral travel, telepathy and clairvoyance. It is said to increase intuition and insight, and to assist creativity.
