Selenite Moon Shaped Bowl

This Selenite Moon Shaped Bowl is a beautiful and functional piece of magickal homeware, and made from natural selenite. It is perfect for charging small items such as crystals or crystal jewellery. A selenite bowl is ideal for cleansing and charging crystals in, as it is powerful in its own right. Simply place your crystals in the bowl for as long as you need to, and they will absorb the energy of the selenite. To charge the bowl, you can place it in the light of the full moon so that it passes on the energy to your crystals.  Some people like to cleanse and charge their crystals in the light of a full moon once the sun has set. The moon is so well connected with selenite, it would give it an extra boost if you put your bowl of crystals in the full moon light. You can leave them out in the sun, however remember that sunlight can damage some crystals if they are left out too long, e.g. amethyst and rose quartz will lose their colour. 10-20 minutes should be all that is needed.

Selenite is a variety of gypsum, and is composed of calcium sulphate dihydrate; which is marked by its layered appearance and pearly sheen.
