Rough selenite bars. The diameter can vary slightly but they are roughly 1 cm x 1 cm wide and 10 cm long.
Selenite bars are one of the classic tools used to clear the aura of negativity and bring in a divine influence. They can be waved around the whole body without touching it. You can also use this above doorways and as a means to charge other crystals. Although selenite has the power to cleanse and charge other crystals, you still need to cleanse selenite to remove any negative energies picked up.
The marketed version of Selenite isn’t really Selenite, but Satin Spar. Both Selenite and Satin Spar are varieties of gypsum, and is composed of calcium sulphate dihydrate; however whilst selenite has a transparent, platy appearance, Satin Spar is marked by its layered appearance and pearly sheen.
