Dalmation Stone Wand

Dalmation Stone Wand, approximately 60mm long by about 14mm across.

The familiar spotted pattern gives this jasper stone its fun name. It is often referred to as the stone of joy, and it has a playful, childlike vibration that can help you release anger or feelings of hurt.

Dalmation jasper isn’t really a jasper at all, but a form of the igneous rock Perthite. The black spots are composed of the rare amphibole arfvedsonite (and not, as often claimed, of tourmaline). If you look, you can see crystaline structures within the stone, which you can’t do with jaspers.

Wands are good to hold when we need focus or clarity. Wands are also used in crystal healing to direct healing energy. The type of crystal you choose will also bring that particular crystal’s properties. A wand pointed away from the body will tend to draw energy away and a wand or point pointed towards the body will tend to channel energy in. “Universal energy” rather than your own energy is focussed down the wand and through the point.
