Yule Wreath Making

Description

This session is for making a 40 cm wreath for Yule. You will also get to fill a bauble to hang on your Yule Tree.  Age 14+ (accompanied with an adult) or 18+. There are only 6 places.

There is some homework for you to do before the session!  Like the Yule Tree, a wreath is about decorating with ever greens. Although materials are being provided, to make it truly your creation you’ll be expected to forage for things to include in your wreath and bauble, such as acorns, holly, ivy, sprigs/sprays of green seasonal foliage, fallen leaves – anything that you think would look good on a wreath or in your bauble that celebrates the time of year. Perhaps you have some dried apple left over from Mabon or Samhain? Foraging will also make it more ‘witchy’ and connect you to nature at this time of year.

What we will provide: a 40 cm rattan wreath (as in the blank picture), foraged pine cones, cinnamon sticks, dried orange slices, artificial ivy, artificial autumnal leaves, fern leaves, ribbon, scented spell candles, cloves, and any glue, string and cotton needed. Pictures are for inspiration.
