Reviews
As a small business, we rely on our reputation to lead us to more customers. We grow our reputation from the reviews that people give us Google or Facebook, so if you have bought something please take a snap and tag us somewhere on the socials! This is just as important for our survival as your purchase.
And if your situation means that you haven’t been able to buy anything lately and you like our stuff, please give us a shout out on your social media pages 🙂
Payments Upgrade
As of September 2021, all traders that accept card payments online will need to provide a 3D secure payment gateway. This adds a little more security at the checkout and is designed to combat online card fraud.
We had done this already, and those of you who have shopped recently will have seen this. This added security gives me peace of mind in the knowledge that customers can shop securely.
This also means that we have removed the Paypal option of payment.
I still offer face to face sales and can take contactless card and phone payments in person, however this is on hold at the moment due to lockdown.
Imbolc
Imbolc starts on Monday 1st February 2021.
1st and 2nd February is Imbolc, where we mark the end of winter and honour the goddess Brigid.
It is the halfway point between the winter solstice and the spring equinox. Imbolc was later adopted by Christians as the St Brigid’s feast day. It is also where spring cleaning originated from!
Small things you can do during Imbolc:
Plant things! Imbolc represents the end of winter, so now is the time to plan a new herb garden and start planting.
Make a doll to represent the goddess Brigid. The doll is a token of fertility. Place her next to a candle to attract fertility to your home.
This is also a good time for a love spell!
Make a Brigid cross for your altar. Make it out of materials from the garden or local woods.
Spring cleaning! And this means your mind and body as well as your home. This is the best time to have a cleansing bath ritual, or set aside time for a crystal meditation.
At sunset light a candle in every room of your home to celebrate the Sun’s birth.
Blessings
