Autumn is here!

September 25, 2023 0 By Saranne Mallinson

I love this time of year! Autumn lovers like us need to take the time to enjoy the crisp mornings, a warm snuggly jumper, hot chocolate, carving pumpkins, and going for walks through fallen leaves. Make sure you find time to go outside and enjoy the new season!

As we move into October, there are a few things happening so keep a note of the dates!

  • I will be taking Mondays and Tuesdays off to prepare my Yule and Christmas Stock! I have some exciting things coming in that will make nice gifts. Our current opening hours are:

Opening Hours

  • I’m reducing ALL of my Halloween stock from 1st October! Make sure you drop into our pop-up shop in The Collective, in Crawley County Mall. We’re on the 1st floor where Debenhams used to be. The flash sale runs from 1st – 22nd October.
  • We’ll be on the Continental Street Market in Queen’s Square, Crawley again from 26th – 29th October!  If we still have Halloween merch after 22nd October, we’ll take it to the Continental Street Market, so you may be able to find a spooky bargain or two on our stall in the market.
  • We will be VAT registered from 1st October. This means that, among other things, we will be able to start to wholesale ethically sourced crystals and some products from India through new suppliers that require UK VAT registration to trade internationally. This will also be a step in the right direction for us moving into a retail unit, as we’ll be able to claim back some of the VAT back on our outgoings.
  • We’ll be back in Crawley Mall from Wednesday 1st November. Our wedding anniversary is on Samhain, so we want a couple of days to do something special together before the Christmas Shopping Season starts.
  • From 1st November we will be trading 6 days a week as part of The Collective, right up until Christmas. Our day off will be Mondays.

Our 2024 plan is for us to have our own space in a retail unit. Once we have this in place, we would like to be able host a monthly Moot in Crawley, in addition to having regular card readers, reiki, and mindfullness sessions. If you do any of these things or have something to offer that would benefit our community please get in touch. We can initially start by forming a network of professionalals online and sharing ideas. You can reach me through the Contact Us part of the website, or by messaging the shop on Facebook
