Hello Blue Moon!
August 30, 2023Ever heard the phrase, ‘once in a blue moon’? A blue moon is the second full moon within a month or the 3rd full moon out of 4 in a season; a season being solstice to equinox or equinox to solstice. A blue moon is quite rare, and only occurs on average every 2.7 years. This will be a great time to make your moon water. If you are a soap maker like me, you can use your charged moon water to make soap!
The full moon starts tonight, 30th August. Full moon energy usually lasts for 3 days.
My next blog will cover Mabon, or the autumn equinox, and what you can do to celebrate this wonderful time of year.
What’s new in store?
We’ve had lots of new deliveries in, ready for Halloween and Christmas, including extra large cast iron cauldrons, an array of witchy wine glasses, and little gothic gifts that you never knew existed! Do pop down and discover what we have!
We also have some new crystal carvings, including a blue-green obsidian elephant, angels, spheres and a horse; and we have new tumble stones, and we now have moldavite.
Opening Hours
Our opening hours in Crawley County Mall are usually from when the Mall opens (we are usually ready to trade between 9 am and 9.30 am), and we close around 4.30 pm. I’m usually here until 5 pm or just after so if you have a click and collect to pick up, you can do this up until 5pm. The only exceptions to this are Sunday – our trading hours are 11 am – 4 pm, and we are closed on Mondays.
We will be closing at 3pm on Wednesday 6th September as I have a hospital appointment.
