Description
This beautiful and rather special Wheel of the Year plaque is the perfect reminder of the 8 Sabbats. The spokes of the wheel are home to the names of each holiday, featuring Yule, Imbolc, Ostara, Beltane, Litha, Lughnasadh, Mabon, and finally, Samhain.
The Wheel of the Year is an annual cycle of seasonal festivals, observed by many modern Pagans, consisting of the year’s chief solar events (solstices and equinoxes) and the midpoints between them.
The outer circle is decorated with intricately designed crops, plants and flowers which represent each stage of the 8 Sabbats .
Cast in top-quality resin before being carefully hand-painted, this piece would take pride of place on a wall in your home, or near your altar. There are 8 hooks on the back, meaning that you can choose to hang it a different way for each Sabbat. Measures 25 cm x 25 cm by 2 cm thick.
